NEW INSTRUMENTS
  • Ronald de Jongh is specialized in making new violas and violins: My clients are playing in all branches of the musical world: orchestra's, teachers, amateurs, soloists, ensembles.

  • When considering a new instrument: for every musician ordering a new instrument is an inspiring experience. The reasons for buying a new instrument can be manyfold:
-you may not have a very pronounced sound-ideal, but you are searching an instrument that fits you: in that case you are invited to come and play on some instruments I have in my workshop; they give you an impression of what I can make, and you can base your choice on the sound you like the best.
-you know what you are looking for, for example that expensive Italian violin of your favorite musician. By ordering a "soundcopy" you have an affordable alternative with a comparable timbre.
-you own a fine instrument and want a replica to bring with you on your trips abroad.
-you heard someone play on a Ronald de Jongh instrument, and now you want to have one for yourself.
