I use this rosin myself since 10 years, and all this time the rosin never deteriorated. It is an ideal mixture of harder and soft resins. It powders in a very easy way. Very economic in use.
And indeed, they also have the finest box. To always have at hand in the room where you play. For use in the violincase I recommend the paper box. |

Rebirth of the baroque violin
Description of the working life of my friend and collega Fred Lindeman. Since 1965 he studied the not-modernized instruments, and put baroque-stile bridges, fingerboards and necks on the modernized ones. This was initially asked to him by early music pioneers like the Kuijken Brothers, the Orchestra of the Eighteenth century and Lucy van Dael, but later also institutions like the Metropolitan museum in New York, for whom Fred restored a Stradivarius. He worked and studied with stringscholars like Dlugolecki and Mimmo Peruffi from Aquila. A fascinating look behind the curtains of a maker with a modest attitude, who helped establish a musical performance culture that spread worldwide. |
